Rolling Stones Stage Set-Up Underway at Ohio Stadium

The Rolling Stones mega-concert at Ohio Stadium with special guest Kid Rock is only four days away!  Field preparation began last Thursday (5/21) and good progress being made on Day 6 (5/26).  So far the weather has cooperated despite threats of major rain on Memorial Day.

Great reviews are coming in from their “Zip Code” tour kick-off last Sunday at San Diego’s Petco Park.  Rolling Stone wrote their 20 song set was a “rock solid performance…2 1/4 hours playing their greatest hits.”  I will stop there, as I don’t want to be a spoiler for anyone who loves being surprised at their favorite concert. Rick Loomis from the Los Angeles Times captured the photo below.

The Rolling Stones will perform the second date on their limited 15-date North American Zip Code Tour THIS SATURDAY (May 30) at Ohio Stadium.  It will be the first concert at the Shoe in 12 years, and the Stones’ first appearance since 1997!
